Naples is a city in the state of Florida. It’s a part of the county of Collier there, and has a population of roughly 23,000 people, and a population density of roughly 1,900 people per square mile. Naples was incorporated as a town in 1925, and is a part of the greater Naples Marco Island Metro area, which has over 350,000 people.
The Naples mortgage market in this area is showing a few signs, here and there, of life. This is in stark contrast to yesteryear’s absolute nose dive downward, off a cliff even, some would put it. Florida as a whole has been hit relatively hard by the real estate crash that’s sort of taken over the entire country. But in particular, a huge part of the economy here was actually banking and financial services, services in the Naples refinance area, where Naples home loans and other debt products were sold very actively by banks of all sizes and scales, and by lenders all up and down the financial food chain. Nowadays, Naples mortgage rates have stabilized, some, but they’re nowhere near as consistent as they were even just 4 years ago.
Economists are really just looking for a good jobs number. But unfortunately, whereas forecasts about jobs in the earlier part of 2010 were somewhat positive, those projections are no longer very realistic. Unfortunately, a bit of a perfect storm is brewing, and many economists are looking to the leadership of the country, to sort of guide the state of Florida as well as the rest of the country, out of further harm’s way. Unfortunately again, this just isn’t quite an economic situation that any of our leaders have really faced before. The Depression was studied by many in leadership roles today, but not very many have actually lived through it; and that’s actually a good point; the point experience of that sort is just incredibly relevant when it comes to these things. Economists are looking for improvements in terms of the decrease in defaulting Naples FHA loans as an indication that the market’s bottoming out, but this hasn’t happened yet.
First Nationwide Lending is currently offering a variety of Naples mortgage products for residents and individuals looking to relocate to the Naples Florida area.
